Thirteen Things I Need In Order to Have a Really Good Day
1. A good morning kiss from my husband.
2. A scalding hot shower with Strawberry scrub from the Body Shop.

3. A cuddle with my cats.
4. A tall glass of ice water. (I have to have a tall plastic tumbler with 6 inches of ice. If the ice melts, I have to have a fresh glass. I carry it around all day.)
5. Time spent reading a good book. (On average I read about 3 books a week. The last truly great book I read was Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett.)
6. To listen to music. (I swear I can listen to Chris Brown’s song With You fifty times a day and not get sick of it.)
7. To complete a To Do List. (It is so satisfying to see a list with everything crossed off. I have a pen fetish and I love using the pen of the day to mark things off.)
8. To spend time or talk on the phone to my nieces. (Hanniah has decided it is essential to let everyone know she is an advocate for world peace and that farting at the dinner table is hilarious.)
9. To spot a new hunk. I love my husband, but I am not dead. Nothing makes me smile more than seeing a man who makes me blush and think oh my, oh my goodness.(Have you seen the body of the guy who plays Kirby on NBC’s Lipstick Jungle?)

10. Talking to a friend. My friends are beautiful, witty, and lead amazing lives. It is always fun to catch up.
11. Good conversation with my husband. He is the funniest and smartest person I know. Lately conversations have been about politics and his wish that I would master walking before I turn 33.
12. Laughter. I have to laugh and it has to be the fall to the floor, oh my did I just snort kind of laughter. Lately, I get this from reading blogs.
13. A kiss goodnight from my husband.

To n° 9 the body is nice but I would cut off the head, and I agree fully to n° 12, I also like to laugh a lot !

I completely understand #7. My pens have to be fat, gel ink, and a very fine point. I need the soft cushion around the grip and it has to be weighted properly so I can twirl it if I have to stop and think.

Sounds like a formula for a great day :).

Great list. I personally need some of my Coconut Milk Body Lotion from Body Shop in the mornigs and evenings. I’ve heard from several people that Pillars of Earth is a good read. I’ll have to keep it in mind for my reading to-do list.

That is a great list. It’s amazing how just a little bit of laughter makes a person feel, so drop on the floor laughter…you must feel great.

I love this “I love my husband but I’m not dead”. I have a friend who says, “Just because I made a selection doesn’t mean I can’t look at the menu!” lol!
Happy TT!
