The new man in my life….

Dyson DC14 All-Floors Cyclone Upright Vacuum Cleaner

Meet my Dyson DC14. I have decided to call him Herbert. I bought him three weeks ago and a whole new level of satisfaction has entered my life. Some of you might think I am nuts to name my vacuum, but I am sure there are those of you out there that understand the love/hate relationship you can develop with a non-performing vacuum. There is nothing better than vacuum lines on a clean carpet or the gratifying sound of dirt and grit being sucked up as the vacuum glides across the carpet. With Herbert, I can watch the dirt and pet hair swirl around with the satisfaction of knowing my home is clean. I have spent a lot of time over the past three weeks vacuuming. Apparently I have not noticed how much time I have devoted to Herbert, but everyone loves to tease me about it.  I think they are jealous. Last night he conquered my niece’s Play-Doh oopses on my dining room carpet. I am in love.

Oh my god. I’m definitely jealous. I’ve been dreaming about a beauty like this to call my own. I’d probably name him Paolo though… don’t ask me why. LOL

While I haven’t gone so far as to name my Dyson, I am totally in love with it! I have the Animal since I have so many critters and oh-my-god! is it WONDERFUL! I’ve had it a year now and it removes the dust and hair and bird seed just like it did when it was brand spanking new.

I hope you enjoy yours for as long as I enjoy mine!

That’s a good vacuum. I haven’t seen too many things that those things can’t suck up.
