Jenn: Eating out is a huge expense. We try to keep dining out to one night a week and that is usually our date night. I am going to do a search for specific restaurant's recipes. Thanks for that suggestion!

Eating in versus eating out is the biggest money saver I can recommend. There are websites that teach you how to replicate you're favorite restaurants' recipes right at home, which saves a lot of money because you pay only for the raw materials and nothing for the service (if you think about the chef's and waiters' and busboys' wages, plus tips, it adds up to a lot to eat out).

I still have a cell phone. My contract is up next year and I am thinking about trading it in for a prepaid. I just don't use it enough.

what a great idea. there are so many things that we think we "can't live without". And we're wrong, of course. It's hard to stand back from things far enough to see, sometimes... but options are there! thanks!

That is so true, I watch local tv, as to 2 hrs a week, only 1 program on sunday night. It's off the air for the summer. So no tv for me. I don't enjoy it anymore. My boyfriend, he's the opposite,he won't take away the cable , and the first thing he does when he walks in, open the tv. I prefer using my time doing other things. I save money by not having a cell phone, I don't want it.
