Lladro is a fine porcelain company based out of Valencia, Spain. They are best known for their figurines and animals. I have two pieces that were gifts and I love them. However I made a decision to not collect additional pieces because they all look the same to me. Well I was on their site today and I really liked some of their new pieces. They are still producing the work they are best known for, but at the same time added a new line that is utterly beautiful. I especially liked these three pieces! Warning: The chandelier will cause sticker shock.

We’ve collected a number of Lladro pieces over the years and are now having to sell them because of moving to a smaller house. My husband used to go to Spain regularly for work and picked them up there, but it’s sad to see them go.
My first piece was a figurine of a girl graduating. My parents bought her while we lived in Germany for my high school graduation. My second piece was a butterfly that my husband gave to me as a just because I love you gift. I really like these new pieces.
