Fact!: A great all-purpose cleaner is castile soap. It’s a soap that contains only veggie oils (usually a mix of almond, coconut, jojoba, vit. E and olive) instead of tallow or other animal fats. Saponified coconut is a great grease cutter (doing what SLS does – the possible health issues). You can get it in liquid form or solid… the great thing about it is “all purpose” means for laundry, dishes, hair, and skin, the whole gamut. Of course there’s a psychological hurdle to be overcome about your face soap and dish soap being the same…:-)
Actually, I haven’t used it for anything beyond personal care, so I don’t know how effective it is with laundry, etc. But it serves as my shampoo, face soap and body wash. It definitely wins the Lazyperson’s Helper award in my books…:-)

Now that’s researching an issue. I admit I have no idea what most of the stuff you named is or why it’s bad. You gave me something to look up.
