Sometimes I get these odd flashbacks to the 80’s and I think of things I learned, saw or fell in love with. I was 12 when I first saw the film The Labyrinth with David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly. I wasn’t sure what to think. I just knew that I loved it. I thought that David Bowie was oddly hot and Jennifer Connelly was the perfect teen heroine. The film introduced the world of fantasy fiction to me. The music and the interaction between Bowie and Connelly left me wanting a sequel, but it never came. I have to make due watching the film over and over and imagining my own sequel. This was my favorite sequence in the film. The Goblin King, Jareth, is trying to make Sarah forget that she is looking for her brother. The song is “As The World Falls Down”.
