Mike: I loved the book! I enjoyed the movie but I agree the book is better. I think they had to make two characters for the movie to make sense to an audience that had not read the book. You are right the book does not unfold as 2 characters the way the movie does. I read Choke this week as well. It threw me for a loop. My friend gave me two more Chuck Palahniuk books to read last night. I can't wait to read them.

One of the best books i've ever read. I personally like the book so much better than the movie. The movie kind of promises something: Edward Norton is Edward Norton and Brad Pitt is Brad Pitt.

The book never promises that the 2 characters are different physical characters.

Does that make any sense?

Have you read CHOKE? By Chuck P.? If not, I totally recommend it.
