This is a poster of the proposed federal budget for 2008. The publisher claims to show fluctuating national priorities. This poster is misleading because it looks as though the Department of Defense, Homeland Security, and Iraq are the largest expenditures in the budget. The poster fails to show Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid which represent over 50% of the federal [...]

Kids gets the beat down from Superintendent’s wife
January 23rd, 2008 · No Comments · Current Events, Humor
These people need an unlisted phone number and the kid needs to get over not getting out of school over a measly three inches of snow. Also we don’t know what the kid’s message said. I can only imagine if it got this response. If he called my house early to complain, I would have [...]

January 21st, 2008 · No Comments · Current Events
Bill Clinton went to the Convent Avenue Baptist Church in Harlem for their MLK service yesterday. Apparently he was very tired and could not stay awake. This is really rude. If you are that tired stay in bed. So how does he apologize to Hillary for his dreaming?

They were in court yesterday to face charges about escaping prison. They pleaded not guilty. I can’t wait to hear their defense.

The federal government has proposed the creation of the Yucca Mountain Repository in Nevada, which would be a storage facility for spent nuclear reactor fuel. Barrack Obama states in his energy fact sheet that he is against the creation of the Yucca Mountain Repository and he is against corporate lobbyists. Obama is also proud that [...]

Darius Goes West
January 18th, 2008 · No Comments · Current Events
In May of 2005, I was reading a newsletter from my Alma Mater, The University of Georgia, and I found a small article about the efforts of another alumni trying to help a local teen. I went to his website and I was introduced to Darius Weems. Darius has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, and had never left [...]
