I found this on Behind the Curtain’s blog. It is a chair by Nils Holger Moormann. The only thing that could make this a better chair would be if it had a motor and steering. I want this chair as much as I want a library with sliding ladders!

I was reading Feministe and I was introduced to Natalie Dee’s comics. I had never had the pleasure of viewing these before. I spent my evening going through her archives. This particular strip really speaks to me at the moment.

Donors Choose: Bringing a Classroom to Life
January 28th, 2008 · No Comments
Teachers spend a lot of their own money on items for their classrooms. I love the idea of donating money to a classroom project and I like how DonorsChoose uses the internet to accomplish their goals. On DonorsChoose.org, teachers post projects and the cost associated with funding the project. You can choose to fund a [...]

Takashi Iwasaki

I saw this on Bloesem and loved Takashi Iwasaki’ s collages. This one is titled “Traffic Jam”. I think collages are a great addition to a child’s room or your own creative space. Iwasaki’s work can be seen at the Tinlark Gallery in Hollywood until Feb. 23rd, 2008.

I enjoy watching The Ghost Whisperer with Jennifer Love Hewitt. I have noticed a trend in Jennifer’s clothing and I think Jennifer Love Hewitt’s breasts need to be added to the show’s credits. Watch the above slide-show for a collection of some of her outfits from different episodes. I did not include pictures from her [...]

England has something for everyone. They now have an established UK Church of the Jedi. NPR reported about the church and I took the time to look at their website. The Church believes in good and evil not the usual God and Devil. They want to live their lives under the Jedi [...]

The Husband and Noodles
January 27th, 2008 · No Comments
My last entry was showing you baby booties made from Ramen Noodle packaging. A disturbing thought occurred to me after I posted it. The husband likes to crush his packages of Noodles before tossing them in the pot of boiling water. I don’t break up pasta before boiling it and I always tell my husband [...]
